Kochen... / cooking...

Gestern hab ich mit Patricia gekocht. Natürlich nur um Französisch zu lernen ;)... danach nehm ich auf, wie sie erzählt was wir gemacht haben und sie schreibt alle neuen Wörter auf. So kommt ein bischen Abwechslung in den Unterricht und wir müssen nicht nur Märchen durch gehen.... was allerdings auch ganz cool ist :)

Yesterday I cooked with Patricia. Of course just to learn French ;) .... afterwards I record how she  retells what we were doing and she writes all the new words down. That way we get a bit of a change in class and don't just have to go through fairytales... even though I actually like them :) 

Zuerst hat sie mir gezeitgt, wie man einen Fisch sauber macht und sauber macht (auch innen :( ) First she showed me how to clean a fish (even the inside :( ) 

                                   Die Schuppen müssen alle weg. You have to take off all the scales. 

Dann war ich dran. Ich sags euch - die Eingeweide da raus zu friemeln is schon bischen eklig. Than it was my turn - I tell you it's a bit yucky to try to get all the guts out

 

             Dabei wars so ein schöner Fisch - so schön rot. It was a really nice fish - had a nice red colour. 

Hier liegen sie und warten das die Gewürze in sie reinziehen - oder so :). Here they are waiting for the herbs to do something, get into them or something like that - I don't even now in german what they are doing :) 

Dann haben wir Zwiebel, Knoblauch und ein paar Gewürze zusammen gestampft - wird dann so ne paste, die man in die Soße mischt. Than we were pounding onions, garlic and some herbs - that makes a kind of past you mix into the souce.

Kartoffeln, Karotten und ähmm ne weiße Karotte werden klein geschnitten und kommen dann später noch in die Tomatensoße (die aus frischen Tomaten besteht).  We cut potatoes, carrots and ähmmm a white carrot in small pieces and you put them later into the tomato souce (which consists just fresh tomatoes).

                           So sieht das ganze auf dem Herd dann aus :). That's how it looks on the stove.
 

                 Und natürlich könnten wir nicht ohne Mami kochen :) Surly we couldn't cook without Mami :)

Leider hab ich vergessen ein Foto zu machen wie das ganze dann am Schluss aussah - aber es hat lecker geschmeckt und nur das ist wichtig !

To bad I forgot to take a picture of how it looked in the end - but it tasted really good and that's the only thing that matters ! ;)
