C'est la vie !

In Deutschland is mir das nie passiert... ich mach ne Mehlpackung auf und mir krabbelt das Mehl entgegen. Is ja irgendwie auch praktisch muss man es gar nicht erst ausleeren und man kriegt Proteine gratis dazu ;) It never happend to me in Germany... I open a flour bag and the flour crawls towards me. Somehow its handy - I don't even have to pour it in a bowl and you get extra protein for free ;)

Ein Samstag Nachmittag, 6 Stunden , 3 Friseusen und ein haufen Kunsthaare - das alles  ist nötig um zu diesem Ergebnis zu kommen :) A Saturday afternoon, 6 hours, 3 hairdresser and a lot of fakehair - thats all that's necessary to get to follwing result :)

Eines der meist genutzen öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sind die "Carrapids" - mit denen wir jeden Tag zur Schule fahren. Obwohl der Name ja eigentlich - schnelles Auto -  bedeutet, sind sie gar nicht soooo schnell. Sie halten nämlich an jeder Ecke an, wenn jemand ein oder aussteigen möchte. In so einem Kleinbus hat es Platz für mindestens 20 Erwachsene + soviele Kinder eben mitgehn (die müssen nichts zahlen) und oft stehen noch Leute im "Mittelgang", der eigentlich nicht wirklich existiert :) Und wenn drinnen kein Platz mehr ist, dann kann man ja auch noch draußen auf dem Trittbrett stehn :) One of the most common public transport are the "Carrapids" - which we take everyday to get to school. The name of those cars may let you assume that they are fast but they're really not, since they stop at every corner to let people get on or off. In such a van is  space for at least 20 adults + as many children they wanna take with them ( they don't have to...

Nach dem wir ein paar Wochen mit durchgeknabberten Essensvorräten und Mäusekake zu kämpfen hatten, haben wir sie jetzt endlich gefangen! Yeah :) After weeks of dealing with holes in our stored food and mousepoop we finally caught it !! Yeahhh :)

(e2 steht für equiping step 2 = ausrüsten phase 2 ... was soviel bedeutet wie dass wir uns noch immer in der Vorbereitung befinden... step 1 war die Bibelschule) A few Pictures of our meeting with all of those who are currently in languagestudy. Letztes Wochenende war ich mit 3 anderen Mädels in einem Dorf das ca. eine dreiviertel Stunde von uns entfernt ist. Dort lebt eine Hollendärin, die mit ihrem Sohn zusammen einen Workshop aufgebaut hat um einheimischen, junge Leute zu unterstützen. Sie bringen ihnen praktische Arbeit bei und zeigen ihnen , wie sie sich dadurch selbst unterstüten können. Es war echt eine coole Zeit dort, mit super Gemeinschaft - man fühlt sich einfach wilkommen, echt schön.  Unter dem Link könnt ihr genaueres über die Arbeit erfahren: http://malikamonkeys.org/ Last weekend I went with 3 other girls to a village that's arround 45 minutes away from us. There lives a duch woman who, together with her son, established a workshop to support local young people. They teach them practical skills and show them how to support themselves though that.
