C'est la vie !

Letztes Wochenende war ich bei der Eröffnungsfeier eines chinesischen Bauprojekts dabei. Um 9 Uhr  waren wir schon da und um ca. 11 Uhr ging es dann tatsächlich los. Der Premierminister war sogar vor Ort und hat eine Rede gehalten. Last weekend I attended the opening ceremony of a Chinese construction project. At 9 o'clock we were already there and at about 11 o'clock it finally started. The prime minister was even there and gave a speech. Dieses Foto hab ich gemacht, als noch nicht viel los war. Später waren alle Plätze beleget und viele Leute standen in der letzten Reihe. I took this picture when there was not much going on. Later, all seats were occupied and many people were standing in the last row.  Während die verschiedenen Leute ihre Ansprachen hielten, wurde unter dem Zelt fröhlich und lautstark erzählt und Kuchen verkauft. Diese Woche hab ich das erste mal Sternfrucht gegessen. Als ich fragte was das ist, wurde mir gesagt, es sei ein Apfel ;) Ich dachte mir nur, das ist doch kein Apfel, aber nachdem ich rein biss hab ich verstanden, warum sie es so nennen... es schmeckt wirklich sehr ähnlich wie ein Apfel. This week was the first time that I got to test Starfruit. When I ask the person who gave it to me, what it is, he said its an apple ;) I just thought, that's not an apple, what is he talking about? But after I had taken a bit, I understood why they would call it that. It's taste its really similar to apples.
