Guinea #4 - ... und dann brannte die Hütte / Guinee #4 ... and then the roof went on fire
Eine andere Art und Weise den Leuten zu helfen was zu verdienen ist durch Brot backen...
Es wurde also ein Backofen gebaut und 2 Leuten gezeigt, wie er funktioniert. Das man drinnen ein Feuer machen muss und dann die Kohlen verteilen. Ein paar Frauen wurde dann gezeigt wie man den Teig fürs Brot macht und sie formt. Also wir sprechen hier von Baguette, nicht Brot wie wir es in Deutschland haben. Es gibt nur dieses Baguette - auch in den Städten. Aber es schmeckt echt gut. Hab leider gar kein Foto gemacht.
Auf jeden Fall, war an dem einen Abend der Ofen nicht heiß genug, deshalb wurde beim nächsten mal ein größeres Feuer gemacht, um sicher zu gehn, dass er dieses Mal richtig heiß ist. Als wir dann aber gerade dabei waren, den Teig fürs Brot zu machen hören wir nur "Feuer, Feuer" (also ich habs nicht gehört, da es auf der Stammessprache geschrien wurde)... wir sind also zum Ofen gerannt und tatsächlich hatte das Dach Feuer gefangen... es konnte schnell gelöscht werden... nur der mittlere Teil war verbrannt. Alle fanden es ziemlich lustig und die Geschichte wurde jedem weitererzählt und diente zur Unterhaltung :)
Another way to help the people to earn some money is by showing them to how to make bread...
So, they built an oven and trained 2 guys about how to heat it - they have to lit a fire inside and to spread the coals later on. A few ladies learned how to prepare the dough and how to form it. The bread we talk about here is Baguette - it's not Toast or any other kind of bread (we would have in germany ) - but it taste really good. I like it !! I didn't take a picture though... anyway, one night the oven wasn't hot enough so it took a while to bake the bread. So the next time we wanted to make bread they made a big fire to make sure it would be hot enough. We were about to prepare the dough when we heard someone shouting "Fire, fire" (even though I didn't hear it, since it was in their local language ) ... we ran to the oven and saw that the roof was on fire... the fire could quickly be killed and just the middle part of the roof got damaged. Everyone thought that it was quite funny and it was the story of the day... :)
