Seltsame Weihnachtspost / Weird christmas package

Letzte Woche hab ich ein Päckchen von meiner Schwester (+Familie) gekriegt. Ich hab mich natürlich sehr über das Päcken gefreut und hab alles was drin war raus geholt und ein Foto davon gemacht - und dann meiner Schwester geschickt und ihr dafür gedankt... das lief ungefähr so ab... 

Last week I got a package from my sister (+ family). I was very exited about it and took everything that was in it out and took a picture of it and sent it to my sister and thanked her for everything... the conversation went like that...

Ich : Hey, vielen Dank für das Päckchen, hab mich voll gefreut ! Echt cool !!

Me: Hey, thank you so much for the package, I'm so exited ! Really cool !! 

Rahel: Ja, bitte! Cool dass es so schnell angekommen ist!! 

Rahel: You're welcome ! Nice that it got there so quickly!!

Rahel: Von wem hast du denn das rot verpackte Geschenk ? 

Rahel: Who did you get the red present from ? 

Ich: Ich weiß nicht, ich wollte bis Weihnachten warten bevor ich es auspacke!

Me: I don't know, I wanted to wait till Christmas before I open it! 

Rahel: Ja, schon... aber wer hat es dir gegeben?

Rahel: Yah... but who gave it to you ? 

Ich : Häh ?! Das war in dem Päckchen drin, dass du mir geschickt hast... 

Me: Häh ?! It was in the package you sent me... 

Rahel: Was? Das hab ich da nicht rein getan. Das ist nicht von mir !! 

Rahel: What ? I didn't put that in there. It's not from me!! 

Also hab ich das Geschenk aufgepackt (das übrigens in "Happy Birthday" Papier verpackt war ) und drinnen war ein pinkes Notizheft und ein pinkes Mäppchen mit Stiften. 

Hab dann Rahel ein Foto davon geschickt... 

So I opened the present (which was a wrapped in "Happy Birthday" paper) and there was a pink notebook and a pink pencil case in it. 

So I sent a picture of it to my sister... 

Rahel: Also ich hab das nicht geschickt ! Aber ich hatte ein kleineres, quadratisches Geschenk rein getan, dass war nicht auf dem Foto und ein Brief von Amelie - war das nicht dabei ? 

Rahel: I didn't put that in there! But I put a smaller present in there that I haven't seen on the picture and there was a letter Amelie wrote you - wasn't that in there ?? 

Ich: Nein... das war nicht drin! Sehr seltsam! 

Me: No... there was nothing else in there! Just what's on the picture! So weird! 

Das seltsame an der Geschichte ist, dass das Päckchen gar nicht aussah, als wäre es aufgemacht worden - und was auch seltsam ist, ist das einfach was ausgetauscht wurde. Ich hab ja schon öfters gehört, dass etwas in Päckchen fehlt, aber nicht, dass dafür was anderes rein getan wird :D 

Leider, werden wir wahrscheinlich nie erfahren was da unterwegs passiert ist - obwohl es mich schon sehr interessieren würde !! 

The weird thing is, that the package did't seemed to be opened before. And weird is, that something got exchanged. I mean I have heard about things missing in packages, but never that there was something different in it :D 

Unfortunately we will probably never find out what happened on the way - even though I'm really curious how that happened !
