Richtig cool ! Als ich noch in Dakar war und darüber nachgedacht hab, wie es wohl wird nach Guinea zu ziehen, war ich mir sicher, dass ich alle Möbel die ich brauche, selber kaufen muss. Ich hatte mir schon den Plan gemacht erstmal einen Herd, einen Kühlschrank und eine Matratze zu kaufen und dann zu sehen was sich so ergibt. Ich hatte das Bild in meinem Kopf von einer ziemlich leeren Wohnung in der Leah und ich auf einer Matratze neben dem Herd sitzen :D. Ich dachte ich brauch ja erstmal nicht viel... aber Gott hat sich da wohl schon was besseres überlegt gehabt. Und zwar sind hier einige Möbel von Kollegen zurück gelassen worden, die Guinea aus irgendeinem Grund verlassen mussten und es hieß, ich könnte mir aussuchen, was ich gebrauchen kann :D Also hab ich jetzt ein Bett, ein Tisch, Stühle, Regal, Kommode... alles was man eben so in eine Wohnung stellt. Echt der Hammer! Wenn Gott einen wohin schickt, dann kümmert er sich um den ganzen Rest, sogar um Möbel !
Gestern und am vergangenen Dienstag haben wir schon das meiste ins Haus gebracht. Wenn alles klappt werden wir nächste Woche einziehen... muss aber noch richtig geschrubbt werden.
It's awesome! When I was still in Dakar and thought about moving to Guinea I was sure that I had to buy my own furniture. I came up with a great plan to start off with a fridge, a stove and a mattress and than to see what I would really need. I pictured myself and Leah sitting in a fairly empty apartment on a mattress next to the stove :D. I thought we don't need much... but God had a better plan. Some colleagues who had to leave the country for whatever reason left quite some furniture behind and I was told that I could use them (for now anyways ;) ) and that I could just pick whatever I needed :D. So now I have a bed, a table, chairs, a shelf, counter... everything you'd need to set up an apartment. Amazing!! Really!! I guess if Gods sends you somewhere he takes care of everything else, even furniture!
We moved most of the stuff already... if everything works out we'll move in next week.
